All Alone on New Year's

I thought Christmas was bad. Well New Year's took the cake. My DH decided to go into work to cover someone's shift instead of ringing in the New Year with me. He leaves for work at 11:30 pm and when he gets to work he doesn't even call me at midnight. He calls me at 12:03am and says "Happy New Year. I'll call you back when I'm done talking to ________." Wow, talk about a kick in the teeth.
